Infinix announced earlier to start rolling out the Android 8 Oreo OTA update for it users, which has now taken place. All Infinix Note 4 Pro users has started receiving the update gradually to enable them upgrade from their Nougat OS to the latest operating system, Oreo.

Infinix Note 4 Pro X571 smartphone comes with 5.7 inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD. The smartphone now runs on XOS based on Android 8 Oreo now, no more Nougat.

Android 8 Oreo comes with exclusive features such as picture-in-picture mode that lets users to two tasks simultaneously. This means that users can minimize a YouTube video while sending a text message. Other features of Oreo are: Snoozing individual notifications, installation of apps via APK, over new 60 Emojis, Adaptive icons, notification dots, keyboard navigation, background limits, wide-gamut color for apps and much more.

For now, the Hong-Kong based manufacturer, Infinix has two smartphones currently running on Android 8 Oreo, the S3 and Note 4 Pro.

How to Upgrade to Android 8 Oreo on Infinix Note 4 Pro

  • Firstly, go to your Phone Settings.
  • Then, tap on About phone.
  • Now, tap on System Upgrade.
  • Tap on “Download and Upgrade“.
  • Your device will reboot as you’ll wait for completion, then enjoy your new features of Android 8 Oreo.
