Apple launched new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in a stunning red colour. It was done because they are part of Product(RED), which direct part of the money made from sales to HIV/AIDS funds.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus phones sport a beautiful red glass enclosure with a matching aluminium band and a sleek black front. They support HD retina display powered by A11 Bionic chipset, designed to enhance the AR experience.
IPhone 8 Plus supports wireless charging and one of the most popular camera in the world. It features 12MP dual cameras and introduces Portrait mode with Portrait Lighting, bringing dramatic studio lighting effects to iPhone, allowing customers to capture stunning portraits with a shallow depth of field effect in five different lighting styles.
IPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also have their RED special edition but fans complained of the white front, which made Apple did some design changes. Now the mobile phones have the red glass front and black front, holding the Aion Bionic processor and the 4.5 and 5.5 inches LCD screens.
Meanwhile, iPhone X did not receive any special edition but just a Europian Leather Folio cover to create a luxurious look and it will be sold for $99 (N35,000).
However, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus red special edition is available in two variants; 64GB and 256GB models starting at an Apple retail price of $699, about N250,000.
