Latest Oreo 8 Android version reveals by Google’s Monthly report that it still hasn’t reached 1% market share which is very poor. Let’s just hope it’s because is probably new.
Oreo is growing at a slow pace. It was 0.5% at last month but has reached a whopping 0.7% this month. It’s probably sure that many months will pass before it arrives 10% market share.
Marshmallow is the most popular version, launched in 2015 but lost some shares, falling from 29.7% to **28.6% **in December. Nougat comes next with 26.3%, while Lollipop has 25.1%. KitKat still has 12.8%, while Jelly bean has 5.6%. Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread has been overtaken by Oreo.
