Infinix has fulfilled its promise by rolling out Android 8 Oreo to Note 4 users but since then, there have been a lot of complaints on the internet concerning the bugs that follows the update.

Some complained that their mobile now takes too long to power on. Others complained of the permanently locked hotspot, while some lost there screen record and ultra power saver, keyboard and many others.

In this article, however, we will provide and acquaint you with the definite fixes by showing you how to downgrade your Infinix Note 4 back to Android 7 Nougat operating system.

Steps to Downgrade Infinix Note 4 back to Nougat…

STEP 1: Go to your Settings>>About Phone>> and check your phone “Build Number” and download the Infinix Note 4 Stock ROM that matches with your phone via here and extract it on a folder on your and once done, make sure you download VCOMM Driver via here.

STEP 2: Download SP Flash tool on your PC, run it as admin and click on “Scatter Loading” and navigate to the extracted Infinix Note 4 ROM you downloaded earlier and select MT6753_Android_scatter.txt.

STEP 3: Now, at the left below the scatter loading, click on “Download now” and change it to “Firmware upgrade“. You can now, switch off your phone and connect it to your PC using an original USB cord as a progress bar will start running and you will see a “Green mark” telling you its successful.

Note: Do not tamper with the USB cord when it’s in progress.

STEP 4: Once done, go to your phone Settings>>About phone and voila! Your Infinix Note 4 Android phone has been downgraded to Android 7 Nougat.
