How to root Infinix Hot 4 X557 running on Android Nougat

1. For Infinix Hot 4 X557-H807AD-N-171110V163 running on Nougat, download and use SuperSU 2.82.zip file via here.
2. ‎For Infinix Hot 4 X557-H807AD-N-171110V163 running on Nougat, use Miracle Box + loader to flash Philz Recovery and preloader.bin from your firmware dump, using this tutorial here (flash 3 consecutive times and boot into recovery mode).

How to root Infinix Hot 4 running on Android Nougat

STEP 1: Install VCOM driver on your PC via here. Dump your phone firmware in scatter file format using this tutorial here, download SuperSU 2.79.zip via here and copy the SuperSU zip file to both your phone memory and SD card.

STEP 2: Download Philz for Infinix Hot 4 (Nougat) via here, Philz for Infinix Hot 4 X557-H807AD-N-170512V44 (Nougat) via here, Philz for Infinix Hot 4 X557-H807AD-N-170626V86 (Nougat) via here and Philz for Infinix Hot 4 X557-H807AD-N-171110V163 (Nougat) via here.

STEP 3: Use SP Flashtool to flash the recovery.img to the phone using this tutorial here and boot straight into recovery mode using Volume up + Power button.

STEP 4: In the Philz Recovery, select “Install ZIP” with Power button and navigate to the location of the SuperSU 2.79.zip file on the SD card using Volume buttons and select it with power button.

STEP 5: Then, wait till flash is complete and select NO if you are promoted to fix root and finally, reboot your phone normally. Check root by using root checker app.
