They also revealed that they have found the vulnerability and the bug earlier but they never used the data but the arrogance of Snapchat CEO annoyed them and they have also threatened to carry out an intensive strike against the company till Snapchat CEO apologies for his remark against Indians.
Not only that, Indians started campaigning against Snapchat app and Snapchat has dropped to a “single star” from “five star” on Appstore. This has also resulted Indians to uninstall the App and giving it one star on playstore.
However, Snapchat CEO (Evan Spiegel) denied this allegation, saying ” This is ridiculous! Clearly, Snapchat is made available for the whole world and available worldwide to download for free”an international spokesman of Snapchat said in statement. “Those words was written by an unsatisfied former employee. We are highly grateful to our Snapchat community in india and worldwide”.
This has led to Snapchat CEO in suing the former employee to court for uttering that statement against Indians.
