Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus users are currently experiencing issues with their wireless charging after recent software update. Most of the complaints says “Samsung recent update is the cause”.

Firmware update has screwed up my fast charging feature on S8+; tested charging block on S7 Edge and all is fine! Good ol' Samsung and there software updates again. Bunch of idiots who accept no responsibility!

@SamsungSupport GM, My fast charger for my galaxy S8 just stopped working. I now say 5 hours to charge. I went into settings to see it fast charger was still on & it is. Can you help please? Thank you!

Aside twitter, this same complaints are also dropped in their forum, with users confirming they have fast charging enabled in their battery settings and using original Samsung charging.

Some even dropped complaints that wireless Charging has been affected. However, Samsung has not drop any solution yet and has not responded to the issue.
