Samsung is planning to launch another smartphone named the Galaxy Note 9. There have been a lot of rumours about the device and in this article, we’ll be revealing some important internal and external rumoured specifications of the device.
Firstly, what’s the big deal about this forthcoming device? Sure, the device is coming with a massive sized update to the Galaxy Note 8, and slightly bigger and better than the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is rumoured to come with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 6.4 inch display screen. It’s coming with support for multi-touch, resolution of 1440 × 2960 pixels and will be protected by a Corning gorilla glass screen 5.
The device is rumoured to run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Galaxy Note 9 could have 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB inbuilt memory storage variants and expandable up to 256GB for all inbuilt memory storage variants using a microSD in SIM 2 slot.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is rumoured to be built with front and back Corning gorilla glass screen 5 and an aluminum frame. And however, it’s coming with Iris scanner, rear mounted fingerprint scanner and some other sensors like Gyro, Accelerometer, Compass, Barometer, Heart rate and Sp02.
In processor, the USA and China or probably other countries (including Nigeria) will have Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 chipset, Octa-core (4×2.7 GHz Kryo 385 Gold & 4×1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver CPU and Adreno 630 GPU. While Europe the Middle East (EMEA) will have Exynos 9810 Octa Chipset, Octa-core (4×2.7 GHz Mongoose M3 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G72 MP18 GPU.
The Dual Nano SIM or single Nano SIM device is rumoured to come with dual 12MP + 12MP back camera with 2x optical zoom, phase detection, LED flash and 8MP frontal camera with autofocus and Auto HDR.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 won’t come with FM radio but you should expect NFC, USB 3.1, ANT+, GPS, Loudspeaker, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE with speed of 1200/200mbps, WiFi and hotspot, and also, you should expect it to come in four color options: Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Titanium Gray and Lilac Purple.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could have a 4000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. The device will possibly launch in August 2018 at the price of at least $929 which when converted to Nigeria currency, you have N335,000.
