Gone are the days that you will hold your WhatsApp voice recording while talking and if you mistakenly, pull off from the Mic, it sends automatically.

WhatsApp now have new much-talked powerful feature in its Beta version that will soon roll out officially, which will give you an option to record voice notes hands-free within the app.

When you hold on the Microphone (Mic) button to record audio, an option will appear on the screen where you can swipe up to lock the recording. Once done, the app will continue to record the voice note without you having to press and hold the Mic button. You can still delete and cancel the recording without sending.

The update is currently available on WhatsApp Beta version for now and in the coming weeks, you will be able to update onto it officially from Google playstore. No word on when it will reach iOS.

What’s your say about this coming feature?
