It seems the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) is beginning to hear our cry over the usual expiration of data bundles. However, NCC has decided to implement data rollover policy this week.
Imagine yourself subscribing to a monthly data bundle and something came up that took up your time during that month, and boom! MTN alerted you that "Precious Agbontan, your data bundle has expired". How would you feel?
So, NCC has decided to implement a data rollover policy for all networks in Nigeria, including Airtel, 9mobile, Glo and MTN, to allow us use our expired or unfinished data bundle in the following month. A second chance would be given of 1 to 14 days extra, depending on your data bundle.
Furthermore, this would enable subscribers to enjoy what they paid for, and the implementation has begun on the 26th of June, 2018.
