YouTube Go is the lightweight version of the original YouTube app and it uses less data when watching video. It shows videos in 144pixels, 360pixels, 480pixels and clips can be downloaded for watching later when offline. Videos can also be shared via WiFi or Bluetooth.

Back at the end of November, YouTube Go was moved from its beta version to public. Although, being available in few countries, the app has surpassed 10 million downloads and is heading to 50 million on playstore.

However, the download for future use on YouTube Go can be unlocked using YouTube Red subscription.
